Mus-Max

Quality from Groß St. Florian for Europe

The MUS-MAX company emerged from the market blacksmith shop in Groß St. Florian, founded by Karl Gutjahr I in 1859. His adopted daughter, Cäcilia, married master blacksmith Erich Urch Sr. The old market blacksmith shop gradually became a business for agricultural machinery manufacturing and trading.

In 1973, the production hall at the new location went into operation. Erich Urch Jr. married Helene Knapp and now runs the business together with his father. Conveyor screws, corn mills, silage cutters...

In 1975, the "MUS-MAX" brand was created. This is a combination of "Mais musen" (Maize muses) and the name of the former foreman, Max Hutter, the father of Brigitte Krammer, née Hutter
